Cyrus Sole

A half-blood girl who has her own mind, and sticks with what she believes, no matter how much others make fun of her.

She’s been bullied and rejected all her life because of what she is, but she won’t let it affect her heart and remains kind towards others. Though she does have moments when she snaps back, and can be blunt and snarky. And she says she’s socially challenged.

Aken-Shou Bloodre

The last Scourgeblood, he’s had a rough life growing up in Draethvyle City’s poorest district. Shunned and feared because of his lineage, he still tries to make the most of things.

He’s a bit of a goofball and prankster, which often gets him into trouble. Making people laugh gets him attention. But he’s also brave, and will defend others at the risk of his own life. He has a soft spot for outcasts, being one himself. But inside, he struggles with a hidden darkness, which could threaten everything that he holds dear… He also can’t resist the call of desserts.

Master Nephryte

A Draev Master at the Academy, in charge of dorm Floor Harlow, where Cyrus and Aken are. He’s one of the most powerful elemental wielders in the Draeth Kingdom, and a renowned hero. An upright character, he lives his life dedicated to his faith, and is a logical thinker. But he has a tendency to be secretive, and knows how to manipulate people. He also loves tea, and reading books, and is great at giving one-liners.

Hercule

The son of one of the twelve wealthy Noble Houses, whose elemental power is fire. With an emotionless father, and a mother who’s a gossiping chatterbox, he spends much of his time by himself. As the only heir, he’s always under pressure to look his best, get the highest grades, and out-perform all the other Noble Houses’s sons. It’s a pressure that’s weighing him down more and more. Especially when he has a curse he must keep secret, or risk his family’s downfall…

Huntter

A human training in the Argos Corps. Coming from the same town as Cyrus, he often shadows her, and without any explanation. He doesn’t get along well with others, and is very elusive. He is also the last surviving member of his clan.

Draev Masters

Those who have reached Master rank in the Draev Guardian League. The best of the best when it comes to using Elemental Manipulation. There are five Masters who mentor the students of Draevensett Academy, raising the next generation of to-be Draevs.

The Pureblood Emperor

An evil being who, according to legend, attempted to steal the Pure Light (an object of great power) and destroy the world. Even though he was defeated, it’s said that he will one day rise again from the dead to finish what he started…
