Busy with my current WIP V.Chronicles, I wasn’t able to write up a chapter for this week, sadly. But to keep in the Madnes Solver theme as my friend Candice suggested, I give you this rhyme based on the character Madnes and his story! I hope you enjoy. The new chapter will post next week. 🙂
“Madnes Destiny”
Tick-tock
Turns the clock
On wings
Life’s time flies,
Hurry before the ticking stops
And it’s time to say goodbye.
Solve the case
Wonderland awaits
Don’t leave behind regret.
With all your soul
Fulfill the goal
Peacekeeper marionette.
With pure intentions
End kings’ ambitions
Let justice be dealt anew.
Unwavering resolve
As the worlds revolve
Seek and you shall find the truth.
Tick-tock
Turns the clock
On wings
Life’s time flies,
Hurry before the ticking stops
And it’s time to say goodbye.

This is my entry for this week’s #BlogBattle challenge by the wonderful author Rachael Ritchey, where the challenge is to write a short story based on that week’s chosen word. This week’s word was: “Pure.” Check out the link, read other great stories there, and VOTE for your favorite 3 to win.

Know where you’ve been here. Today just wasn’t a writing day at all, somehow. 🙂

I love this! Maybe you should work more rhymes into your Madnes series. You could have one as an intro to each story, perhaps.

I’m glad to hear that, thank you, Cathleen! If I can come up with more rhymes, I might. I’ll keep it in mind. 🙂

Cool poem. 🙂 Sometimes time just doesn’t allow us to get enough done. I can sympathise. But this was a good entry. Though I am still hanging on that liff edge waiting to see what happens next… 😀

I chose quite a cliffhanger week to skip, didn’t I? 😉 I’m glad you liked the poem, and I hope tomorrow’s chapter will be a thrill. 😀

Solid, punch ending, and that’s typically what makes a poem. Nice!

Thank you, Grace! The ending of poems can be so hard figuring out. I’m glad this one came out right. 🙂
