My haikus for RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Challenge–a fun activity and contest that is open for everyone to participate, and helps keep our creative writer’s mind active! This week’s words are: Color & Cover.
“Shine Out”
Night world colorless
Under cover of darkness,
Stars hope to shine out.
~
“Mist”
Mist covers the lake
Seeping from another world,
Cold colored feelings.

Chiling. I like the end of the first one best. Wonderful feelings and imagery.

Thank you, phoenixgrey. 🙂 We should all “shine out” as the end of the first one encourages.

I like both pieces equally. They evoke beautiful, ghostly imagery. Actually, I could almost picture them happening together, in a single evening. Very nice, E. 🙂

Thanks. I went with a more nature-based and haunting theme this time. I’m glad you like them both!
It would be a mysteriously beautiful evening. 🙂
