My haiku for RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Challenge–a fun activity and contest that is open for everyone to participate, and helps keep our creative writer’s mind active! This week’s words are: Gain & hound. I hope you enjoy.
“Troubled Mind”
Ill gain haunts the mind,
Thoughts hound the desperate soul,
Wishing for sweet peace.
~
“Plights of a Merchant”
Did these pants gain weight?
Asks the chubby merchant man,
Will you stop hounding?

How to read a haiku:
Ill gain haunts the mind, Thoughts hound the desperate soul.
Thoughts hound the desperate soul Wishing for sweet peace.
I love the top one. I can’t put it into words, but it makes me feel… something.

*lol* The second one made me chuckle. And in general, I like that when you share two haikus, they both have distinct personalities: usually one thoughtful, the other humorous. Good job! 🙂

Glad to bring chuckles and smiles to others! 😀 Thanks, when I have enough time I like to add 2 for that very reason. 🙂
