“Battle Against The Fae”

The Seal was fixed, dark
Fae fell back into their Realm,
Hope stayed for Ireland.

~

“Negotiation”

The dragon approached.
Rin’s sword stayed at the ready,
Hoping for a truce…

  1. The first haiku reminded me of of Juliet Marillier’s Daughter of the Forest. Not in terms of writing style or what it’s about, but the mere mention of Fae and Ireland made me think of the Fair Folk from that novel’s fantastical version of Ireland. Have you read that book? I think you’d like it.
