I am making The Change!

ya fantasy, mg series, fantasy series, books, novels, epic fantasy series, steampunk series, author blog, blog series, amreading, summer, rawls e fantasy, e e rawls, author,

Yes, you read that right. I am making the change!

But what change is that, you might be wondering? Well, those who have been following me here and on social media probably recognize this image I’ve been using for my profile:

author E E Rawls, rawlse, rawls e fantasy, erawls, fantasy, flower, imagination, dream, red, white, black, adventure, epic, goodread, dark fantasy, epic fantasy, YA, Upper MG, romance, vampire, elves, faerie, fairy, dragons, goblins,

But now, the time has come for a change!

If I’m going to be an author, then I need some photos that fit the part. And so, here is the new profile photo that you will be seeing around instead:

author E. E. Rawls, Rawls E Fantasy, fantasy writer, steampunk writer, wonderland, fiction, adventure series, YA series, books, new novels, new author, author blog, must read, amreading,

I think it came out decent enough, at least for now. I’ll have to get professional ones done in the future, but hopefully this is a step in the right direction. 🙂

How was your weekend?

Coming Next: this Tuesday is a new chapter of the series Madnes Solver!

    • Thank you, Sara! 🙂 I sort of took the plunge without giving myself a chance to feel intimidated, haha. I think it’s also helping to prepare me for “author life” which can be quite public, what with book signings, author events, and such. 🙂 Now, actually talking to people in person about my books…well, that’s the next step I must learn. 😉
How was it for you when you first posted your photo?

      • I don’t remember, tbh. I’ve always had a picture of myself on my Facebook profile, so I was used to having people see what I looked like. So I didn’t think twice about it when I put a photo of me on the blog.

        • I was always fine with photos of myself on Facebook (since just friends saw them), but a blog I had to grow comfortable with. I think it’s great that you didn’t think twice about it. It’s one of those steps we must take to becoming authors. 🙂

  1. Glad that you decided to ditch the avatar for your real picture. I hope you’re happy and satisfied with the change. The journey of becoming an author helps us evolve in so many areas – emotional, psychological, physical, etc., doesn’t it?
Hope you’re having a great day!
