Haiku: Betrayal & Rule

haiku, poem, poetry, fantasy, E Rawls

My haikus for RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Challenge–a fun activity and contest that is open for everyone to participate, and helps keep our creative writer’s mind active! This week’s words are: Gem & Flame.

“Betrayal”
The gem of his heart
Her love was once his treasure,
The flame of his soul.
~
“Rule”
Flames danced within the
Gemstone upon her gold crown,
Harsh choices are made.
