Update

Hello, friends and readers! I’m finally back, and am slowly working to catch up on things. These past few weeks have been a blur and a time of sorrow as my grandfather passed away. I miss him, but I also know he is at peace now with the Lord. It’s hard not to be selfish and wish people can stay with you forever, but I knew it was time to say goodbye. Those who have been praying for us, thank you! It helped me more than I can express. It was an unusual Christmas and New Years, to say the least, but also a special one as I got to spend time with relatives and dear people that I otherwise wouldn’t have been able to. For that I’m thankful.

Please forgive me for not posting the next chapter of Madnes Solver last week, as I’d previously said I would, and other writings. Circumstances prevented it, and it hasn’t been easy getting back into writing and blogging gear. However, I’m very glad to be able to post a chapter today, with God’s help. I hope you enjoy it, even if it’s a bit on the short side. 🙂

Thank you for supporting me. I look forward to this new year 2016, and sharing it with you!

  1. *gives a “welcome back” hug* It’s good to see you back here, E. It’s totally understandable why you needed to be away, so don’t worry about apologizing. And I’m glad you were able to find some bright spots over the holidays despite the sadness.

    See you around. 🙂

    • Thank you, Rebekah, your prayers were much needed. It was a hard time for all of my family and relatives, but at least we had each other, and God’s comfort. I did come back feeling refreshed and ready to write/revise, so that’s a good thing. Although it’s been a lot of work catching up on everything I’ve missed. In fact, I still need to catch up on your blog and a few others. I’m happy to be back. 🙂

  3. *hugs* I’m so sorry for your loss. I loss my Nanni D a few years back and I know how much a death in the family hurts. I hope despite tragedy you could find joy in the time of the birth of our savior. I pray for peace for your family.

    • Thank you so much, Tori. *hugs* ❤
I'm thankful for your prayers. Spending time with family helped, and getting to celebrate New Years with them was a blessing. I'm worried about my grandma though; she misses him so much, and really needs the Lord's encouragement.
