Haikus: Found Note & Stealth

My haikus for RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Challenge–a fun activity and contest that is open for everyone to participate, and helps keep our creative writer’s mind active! This week’s words are: Black & White.

“Found Note”
Her secret message,
Black letters on white paper,
Beckon mystery.

Black cloaks the shadows,
From the moon’s pearl white moonlight,
Elves ready the raid.

  1. So many of your poems remind me of Middle-Earth! The first line of the second haiku reminds me of the Nazgul, and makes me think the Elves are going after them. 😉 But that’s probably a much different interpretation than what you were thinking of…?
