What is a haiku
But a sonnet from the soul,
Releasing the mind.

Both really good. I now feel really sorry for the turkeys. Not that I didn’t before, I just try not to think about it. A sonnet from the soul. I like that. 🙂

Yes, I try not to think about it either, haha. They just taste so good. 🙂
Thank you, phoenixgrey. ^_^

Awwww, the poor turkeys! Very bittersweet first haiku, and I admit I felt bad chuckling at the last line. *blushes* The second one is lovely, too.

Haha, yes, we should all pity the turkeys this month! We have a wild flock that comes through our yard once a week, and I notice they’ve been more cautious than normal this month. Haha “eat vegan” XD Chuckle or “cluck” away. ;D

Funny, a flock of turkeys likes to visit my parents’ property. Dad has said he sees them once or twice a week now that he’s retired. We’ve also seen a male fan his feathers and parade around the yard in front of a female. Now THAT was interesting. XD

Lol, those male turkeys can be hilarious to watch! XD Have they gone on the run now that it’s November? Ours have, lol.

I’m not sure if they’ve “flown the coup.” My dad hasn’t mentioned the turkeys recently, so maybe they have…?
