Haikus: You Never Know/Late Shire Party

My haikus for RonovanWrites Weekly Haiku Challenge–a fun activity and contest that is open for everyone to participate, and helps keep our creative writer’s mind active! This week’s words are: Stag & Noise. I hope you enjoy this Lord of the Rings edition.

“You Never Know”
A lonely stag
Was Thranduil’s roaring steed,
A pony disguised?

“Late Shire Party”
Too much noise outside
Irked, Bilbo leans out the door,
Shushing a drunk stag.

This was to commemorate Tolkien and Hobbit Day, September 22, when Frodo and Bilbo each were said to have been born (different years of course). Happy Hobbit Day, Middle Earth!!! ❤ 😀

How to read a haiku:
A lonely stag, Was Thranduil’s roaring steed.
Was Thranduil’s roaring steed A pony disguised?
